AACRAID 재작성판

`aacraid` driver는 Adaptec RAID controller를 지원한다. Adaptec이 제공한 원래 driver를 크게 다시 작성해 source를 정리했고, 실행 binary module 크기도 원본의 절반 미만으로 줄였다.

Introduction
============
The aacraid driver adds support for Adaptec (http://www.adaptec.com)
RAID controllers. This is a major rewrite from the original
Adaptec supplied driver. It has significantly cleaned up both the code
and the running binary size (the module is less than half the size of
the original).

지원 PCI ID와 제품군

지원 표는 `pci.ids` 형식의 vendor, device, subsystem vendor, subsystem device 네 값으로 controller를 식별하고 OEM과 product 이름을 연결한다. Adaptec 2120S·2200S부터 3xxx·4xxx·5xxx 계열, SAS와 ZCR 제품을 포함한다.

같은 hardware family는 다른 OEM 이름으로도 판매되었다. SMC AOC-USAS, Dell PERC와 CERC, HP NetRAID-4M, Legend S220/S230, IBM ServeRAID, ICP RAID controller, Sun STK RAID 제품이 표에 포함된다. PCI ID가 최종 match 기준이므로 product 별칭보다 네 필드 전체를 확인한다.

일부 행은 동일한 PCI ID에 2230S와 2230SLP처럼 둘 이상의 marketing name을 연결하며, OEM 칸이 비어 있고 chip codename만 있는 항목도 있다. 원문 표의 hex ID와 대소문자는 식별 자료이므로 그대로 유지한다.

주요 기여와 driver 계보

Alan Cox가 재작성했고 Christoph Hellwig는 new-style PCI probing과 SCSI host registration으로 갱신하면서 작은 cleanup과 fix를 했다. Matt Domsch는 revision ioctl과 adapter message를 맡았다.

Deanna Bonds는 non-DASD, PAE FIB와 64-bit, 새 controller와 ioctl, 새 SCSI error handler를 추가하고 container당 FIB와 outstanding command 수를 늘렸다. 64-bit와 64G memory model을 고쳤으며 hardware로 가는 FIB를 `hw_fibs`로 일관되게 불러 driver tracking structure와 혼동하지 않게 했다.

Mark Salyzyn은 panic 문제 수정, 새 HBA product ID, performance tuning, card failover와 bug mitigation을 담당했다. Achim Leubner가 원래 driver를 작성했으며 이 작업은 Adaptec Unix OEM Product Group의 계보에 속한다.
