Digital TV와 DVB 명칭의 범위

이 문서는 GFDL-1.1-no-invariants-or-later 라이선스를 따르고 `isonum.txt`를 포함하며 `dvbapi` 참조 대상으로 Digital TV API 제2부를 구성합니다.

이 API는 Linux DVB API라고도 합니다. 처음에는 유럽 디지털 TV 표준인 DVB를 지원하려고 작성했지만 이후 모든 디지털 TV 표준을 지원하도록 확장되었습니다.

혼동을 피하기 위해 이 문서에서는 API와 관련 하드웨어를 `Digital TV`라고 부릅니다.

`DVB`라는 말은 Digital TV API 버전, enum·struct·define 같은 Digital TV 자료형, `/dev/dvb/...` 장치 노드, 유럽 DVB 표준을 가리킬 때에만 사용합니다.

Part II - Digital TV API
########################

.. note::

   This API is also known as Linux **DVB API**.

   It it was originally written to support the European digital TV
   standard (DVB), and later extended to support all digital TV standards.

   In order to avoid confusion, within this document, it was opted to refer to
   it, and to associated hardware as **Digital TV**.

   The word **DVB** is reserved to be used for:

     - the Digital TV API version
       (e. g. DVB API version 3 or DVB API version 5);
     - digital TV data types (enums, structs, defines, etc);
     - digital TV device nodes (``/dev/dvb/...``);
     - the European DVB standard.

2.2.0(2017-09-01)은 non-legacy API에서 uAPI 문서와 커널 구현 사이의 대부분의 차이를 수정했습니다.

2.1.0(2015-05-29)은 시스템 호출을 더 표준적인 방식으로 문서화하고 당시 Digital TV API 설명을 확충하기 위해 DocBook을 개선하고 정리했습니다.

2.0.4(2011-05-06)는 DVBv5 API와 frontend GET/SET property ioctl 설명을 보강했습니다.

2.0.1(2009-09-16)은 Patrick Boettcher가 처음 작성한 ISDB-T 테스트를 추가했습니다.

2.0.0(2009-09-06)은 LaTeX 문서를 같은 내용의 DocBook XML로 변환했습니다.
